Terms of service

Resalv is a verified short-let booking platform operating across Nigeria, city by city, currently live in Lagos, Abuja, and Port Harcourt. We are not an open marketplace: properties appear only after host identity verification and a physical inspection, and remain listed only while they meet our standards.

We act as the booking and payment intermediary between guests and hosts. The accommodation contract for a stay is between the guest and the host; Resalv facilitates, protects, and enforces it.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your credentials secure.

Hosts must complete government ID verification before submitting a property. Providing false identity or property information is grounds for permanent removal.

A booking is confirmed when payment is authorised. Guest payments are held by our payment provider and released to the host after check-in, guests never pay hosts directly, and hosts should never request direct payment.

Prices are set by hosts and shown per night. A service fee is added at checkout and displayed before you confirm.

Listings must accurately represent the property, photos, amenities, and availability. The property delivered must be the property listed.

Confirmed misrepresentation, repeated incidents, or fraud lead to suspension or permanent bans under our trust rules, which are applied automatically.

No off-platform payments, no discriminatory refusals, no parties or events in violation of house rules, no manipulation of reviews or trust scores, and no illegal activity of any kind.

We work hard to verify listings and protect payments, but stays are provided by hosts. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Resalv's liability is limited to the amounts paid through the platform for the booking concerned.

We may update these terms as the platform evolves. Material changes will be notified by email and take effect no earlier than 14 days after notice.
