Trust & safety
One honest number for every stay
The trust score is the backbone of Resalv. It is computed by rules rather than opinions, and there is no way to buy one.
How the score is calculated
The weights below are for a short let, where guests review a stay they have actually had. They are not the same for a house, a rental or a plot of land: nobody reviews a plot, so those scores are led by what Resalv verified and how recently the seller confirmed the listing is still available.
Guest reviews
40%
Verified post-stay reviews, the loudest voice in the score.
Incident reports
30%
Confirmed problems pull scores down fast and stay on record.
Booking completion
15%
Cancelled or failed stays hurt; smooth check-ins help.
Host responsiveness
15%
How quickly and reliably the host replies to guests.
For property to buy, rent or build on
A sale or land listing is scored mostly on its Property Passport — the checks we carried out, each with a date and the person who did it — and on freshness: how recently the seller confirmed it is still available at that price. A listing nobody will confirm slides down the results on its own, which is why Resalv never needs to sell you a way to push one up.
The rules enforce themselves
No negotiation, no exceptions. The platform applies these automatically, and every action lands in an audit log.
